So. It's my sister's wedding :) Soon.
In two days it's the civil wedding. It's a small family thing, but it's a very solemn occasion and I am privileged to be one of the witnesses. If I reach there on time to witness it that is.
It happens to be on the ONE Saturday where I have to work until 16h30. That was arranged months ago. The civil wedding date was settled 2 weeks ago. The signing will take place at 17h00 in our living room, at home.
Granted I'm only 15 minutes away from the place. It'll only take a high-speed taxi to get there, and fast-dressing skills. It's a networking activity at work, so it's going to be lightning switch between "Hello, we are so great!" to "Oh my God! My sister's married".
Sometimes those American slap-stick comedies don't seem so strange, nor even that funny. It's all in a day's work.

That went well. Someone Up There got them to call us and bring the activity an hour forward. I was able to get home in time and, in 20 minutes, freshen up & saree up, and be properly composed for the occasion :)
