No it must not. I can't say that anyone had ever betrayed me, neither does my upbringing suggest anything similar; however, I have never had faith in humans. It's easier that way, and it works for me.

I would find it difficult to live without faith in human beings. Faith in all, yes, in the potential each human has. Trust, not all, but as Preetee said, at least the people I like and love. And when that gets shaken by one friend, it takes some determination to remember that it doesn't mean everyone else is the same. Still, you learn and grow from it... after a while.
